What kind of atmosphere does the Gloda table lamp create?

The Gloda glass LED table lamp produces a warm, amber-toned light that creates a soft, cozy ambiance — ideal for winding down in the evening. Rather than filling a room with bright overhead-style light, it layers gentle warmth into your space, encouraging relaxation. It's particularly well-suited for bedrooms, reading nooks, and living room corners where you want a hygge-inspired atmosphere .

What are the dimensions of this table lamp and will it fit on a standard nightstand?

Absolutely — the Gloda is designed with compact proportions in mind. It stands 11.8 inches tall (approx. 30 cm) and has a shade diameter of 7.1 inches (approx. 18 cm) , making it a comfortable fit on most nightstands, bedside tables, and desks without overwhelming the surface. Its slim gold base keeps the footprint minimal while still making a visual statement.

What materials are used in this lamp's construction?

The Gloda is crafted from clear glass for the shade and metal with a gold finish for the base — both chosen for their durability and visual elegance. A rope-wrapped detail around the bulb holder introduces a natural, organic texture that softens the overall look. These materials are selected to reflect Skonne's commitment to Nordic craftsmanship: honest, quality materials that age beautifully.

Can I use this lamp as my primary bedside or desk lamp for daily reading?

Yes, the Gloda works wonderfully as a daily-use bedside table lamp or desk light. The warm LED light source is gentle on the eyes and well-suited for reading, journaling, or relaxing. The touch or button control makes it easy to switch on and off without fumbling. Its energy-efficient LED also means you can leave it on comfortably during longer evening sessions without worry.

How do I care for and clean the glass shade?

Caring for your Gloda lamp is wonderfully simple. For the glass shade , a soft dry cloth or a lightly damp microfiber cloth is all you need — avoid any abrasive cleaners or sprays that could dull the surface. For the gold metal base , keep it dry and wipe gently with a dry cloth to preserve the finish. Always allow the bulb to cool completely before cleaning near the light source.

Absolutely . Every piece is packed with the same care we put into curating it. We use reinforced boxes and protective cushioning designed for fragile décor and lighting—because a cracked shade, scratched finish, or chipped piece isn't acceptable. In the rare event your order arrives damaged, our support team will sort it out immediately with a replacement or full refund . No runaround.

Warm Nordic Lighting for Every Room

Most rooms suffer from overhead lighting that feels harsh and uninviting. The Gloda solves this with a warm LED light that wraps the room in a soft, amber-tinted glow — the kind of light that slows an evening down and makes a space feel lived in. Whether placed on a bedside table, a reading desk, or an entry console, this bedside table lamp transforms the mood of any space instantly.

Minimalist Glass Design with a Gold Accent Base

The transparent glass shade draws the eye without demanding attention — it catches the light gently, letting the warm glow do the work. The rope-wrapped detail around the bulb holder adds just enough organic texture to feel grounded, while the polished gold base introduces a quiet luxury that suits both modern and transitional interiors. This is Nordic home decor at its most considered: no excess, nothing wasted.
