Some rooms feel flat no matter what you add — the furniture is right, the palette is considered, but something is still missing. More often than not, it's the light. The Glödra Art Deco table lamp from Skonne was designed precisely for that gap: a sculptural, dual-direction lamp that fills a space with warm architectural glow and quietly elevates everything around it.

Inspired by the clean geometry of Art Deco design and finished in polished chrome accents, the Glödra brings a timeless sophistication that works equally well in a minimalist Nordic interior or a richly layered living room. Available in crisp White or bold Red, it adapts to your palette without compromising its character.

Art Deco Table Lamp with Dual-Direction Glow

What sets this lamp apart is its up-and-down illumination — light projects both upward toward the ceiling and downward into the room, creating layered depth and a mood-enhancing ambiance that a single-direction lamp simply cannot achieve. The effect is subtle drama: the kind that makes guests pause and ask where you found it.

Sculpted for Everyday Nordic Living

Crafted from reinforced ABS and powder-coated iron, the Glödra is built to last without sacrificing refinement. The knob switch offers tactile, intentional control — a small detail that speaks to considered Nordic design principles. An LED bulb is included, so you can place it and illuminate your space from the very first evening.

I cannot stop staring at this lamp! It's literally the centerpiece of my living room now. The dual lighting means I can adjust the mood from bright and functional to super cozy with just a flip of the switch. My interior designer friend stopped by and was genuinely impressed by the quality. Said it looks like something that should cost twice as much. She's ordering one for a client project now!

In their words

From the reviews of this piece.

  • Arrived well-packed and secure from Skonne. Assembly took maybe three minutes. The dual light setup is clever — I get ambient warmth upward and enough brightness below for reading. Perfect balance honestly.

Moving into a new home always means prioritizing which rooms get attention first. This lamp was meant for the living room, but after seeing it in person, it ended up in my bedroom because the glow is so conducive to relaxation. Customer service was exceptional—my first shipment had a small defect and they replaced it immediately, no hassle. The replacement arrived in two days and was flawless. It's rare to find companies that stand behind their products this way. The lamp itself is beautiful, functional, and clearly built to last.

Almost perfect. Love the aesthetic and the warm light output. Just wish it came in more color options — the brass is nice but brushed nickel would match my space better. Still keeping it though.

It's decent. The design is pretty and the dual light works as described. But it doesn't really stand out in my space like I expected. Fine for the price I guess, does the job.

Shipped quickly and packed well. The lamp is beautiful and functional. My only gripe is the switch placement — slightly awkward to reach from my seated position. Otherwise it's great.

Beautiful piece, I'm really pleased with how it lights my reading corner. Shipping took a week longer than promised which was annoying, otherwise would be five stars.

This is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a review in months! I was hesitant about the price even on sale, but honestly, this lamp has brought me genuine joy every single evening since it arrived. The dual lighting transforms my space completely—I can have bright light for cleaning and then flip to ambient for relaxing. The quality is obvious from the moment you lift it from the box. Weighty but not heavy, substantial details, no flimsy parts. My partner keeps commenting on how it 'upgrades' the whole room. Worth every single penny!

Two months in and I'm still impressed. The finish hasn't tarnished despite my humid climate, and the light quality remains consistent. It's become essential to my evening wind-down routine. Great buy!

Three weeks in and it's performing beautifully. The dual switch is practical — I often use just the upward glow while watching movies. Subtle but significant improvement to my space.

Been eyeing this for a while ngl, finally pulled the trigger when I saw the discount. Zero regrets. My living room finally feels 'finished' if that makes sense. The up-and-down lighting is brilliant for movie nights.
