What makes the Glödra floor lamp a good statement piece for my living room?

The Glödra brass floor lamp combines a sculpted ball-top silhouette with a polished gold finish that immediately draws the eye. At 47.2 inches (approx. 120 cm) tall, it fills vertical space with intention. Unlike generic floor lamps, its solid brass-copper body acts as a sculptural accent even when switched off — making it a true design feature, not just a light source.

What are the dimensions and will it fit in a standard room?

The Glödra stands 47.2 inches tall (approx. 120 cm) with a base diameter of 5.9 inches (approx. 15 cm) , making it perfectly proportioned for standard ceiling heights. Its compact footprint means it fits comfortably in reading corners, beside sofas, or in entryways without overwhelming the space. It works beautifully in rooms with 8-foot ceilings and above.

Is the body made from genuine brass?

Yes — the Glödra features a solid brass-copper body , not a brass-toned coating over cheaper metal. This means it carries the genuine weight, warmth, and visual richness that only real brass delivers. Over time, solid brass develops a natural patina that deepens its character, making your lamp look even more considered and intentional as the years pass.

Can I use this lamp for daily reading or is it purely decorative?

Absolutely both. The Glödra is available in two light tones: warm light for relaxed, ambient evenings and neutral light for reading and task-focused use. The included LED bulbs provide comfortable, eye-friendly illumination at any time of day. Whether you are unwinding after work or curled up with a book, this lamp adapts beautifully to your moment.

How do I care for and maintain the brass finish?

Caring for your Glödra is simple. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the brass body regularly — this removes dust and preserves the polished finish. Avoid moisture, harsh chemicals, or abrasive materials, which can dull the surface. For the aluminum shade , a light dusting every few weeks keeps the light output consistent and bright. A little mindful care goes a long way with quality brass.

Absolutely . Every piece is packed with the same care we put into curating it. We use reinforced boxes and protective cushioning designed for fragile décor and lighting—because a cracked shade, scratched finish, or chipped piece isn't acceptable. In the rare event your order arrives damaged, our support team will sort it out immediately with a replacement or full refund . No runaround.

Sculptural Brass Floor Lamp Built to Last

The solid brass-copper body is more than a material choice — it is a commitment to longevity and visual richness. Brass ages with intention, deepening its warmth over time rather than fading. Paired with a clean aluminum shade, the Glödra balances sculptural drama with the restrained elegance of Nordic design. No clutter, no excess — just form and light working together beautifully.

Wide voltage compatibility (90–260 V) and a self-contained setup mean you are never more than a few minutes away from a transformed space.
