What makes the Lervik lamp different from a standard table lamp?

The Lervik Vintage Ceramic Table Lamp is entirely handcrafted, meaning each piece carries its own unique glaze variations and surface texture. Unlike mass-produced lamps, no two Lervik lamps are exactly alike — the subtle imperfections in the hand-glazed ceramic base are intentional, rooted in the Wabi-Sabi philosophy that celebrates natural beauty and authenticity. It is a functional art piece as much as a light source.

What are the dimensions of the Lervik lamp and will it fit on a standard bedside table?

The Lervik measures H 18.9 inches × W 17.7 inches (approx. 48 × 45 cm ), making it a generously proportioned lamp that works beautifully as a bedside, console, or reading nook accent. For bedside use, we recommend a table surface of at least 18 inches (approx. 46 cm) in width to allow the shade to sit comfortably without overhanging the edge.

Is the ceramic base genuinely handcrafted, or is it machine-made?

Absolutely genuine. The ceramic base of the Lervik is individually hand-thrown and hand-glazed by artisans, which is why each lamp displays its own distinct color depth and surface character. This is not a replicated finish — it is the natural result of the pottery process. Expect slight variations in glaze tone and texture from the photos; these are features, not flaws, and what makes your lamp truly one of a kind.

Can I use the Lervik lamp in a bedroom or living room every day?

Yes, and it truly shines in both spaces. The 3000K warm white LED creates a soft, golden ambient glow that is ideal for evening relaxation, bedside reading, or living room layering. The included 5W LED bulb (E27 base) is energy-efficient and long-lasting, so you can enjoy it every night without worry. The ceramic base is durable and the fabric shade is designed for daily use in a home environment.

How do I care for and clean the Lervik ceramic table lamp?

Caring for the Lervik is simple. Gently dust the hand-glazed ceramic base with a soft, dry cloth — avoid water or liquid cleaners, as moisture can affect the glaze finish over time. The linen fabric shade can be lightly brushed with a soft brush or dry lint roller to remove dust. Never use abrasive materials on either surface. When replacing the bulb, ensure the lamp is unplugged and use an E27 LED equivalent up to 10W.

Absolutely . Every piece is packed with the same care we put into curating it. We use reinforced boxes and protective cushioning designed for fragile décor and lighting—because a cracked shade, scratched finish, or chipped piece isn't acceptable. In the rare event your order arrives damaged, our support team will sort it out immediately with a replacement or full refund . No runaround.

A Soft Glow That Changes How a Room Feels

The natural linen fabric shade gently diffuses the 3000K warm LED light, casting a golden, amber-toned glow that invites you to slow down. Whether placed on a bedside table, a reading nook side table, or a living room console, the Lervik creates an atmosphere that feels intentional and deeply comfortable — the very essence of Nordic hygge.

Nordic Design Meets Handcrafted Pottery Craftsmanship

Skonne designed the Lervik to honor traditional ceramic artistry while fitting naturally into modern, Scandinavian-inspired interiors. The vintage pottery aesthetic pairs beautifully with linen, wood, stone, and natural textiles — the materials that define contemporary Nordic homes. Its generous proportions (H18.9 inches × W17.7 inches) make it a confident statement piece without overwhelming a space.

The included LED bulb runs at just 5W while delivering rich, ambient warm light — energy-conscious without compromise. A simple button switch keeps operation effortless.
