After six weeks of daily dishwasher use, these have held up remarkably well. No crazing in the glaze, no fading, no chips at the rim. The ceramic body appears to be high-fire based on the density and the ring when tapped. Heat distribution is even, preventing those uncomfortable hot spots you get with thinner mugs. The saucers serve their purpose well, though I find myself using them more for presentation than function. The handle placement provides good leverage when full, reducing wrist strain compared to my previous set. Aesthetically, they bridge the gap between rustic and refined quite successfully. The sale price made this an easy decision, though I would have paid full price knowing the quality now.

I've been hand-washing them as reccomended and it's actually become a nice ritual. The mugs are comfortable to grip and the rim thickness is pleasant to drink from.
