What makes the Stranda throw blanket different from a regular blanket?

The Stranda Cotton Throw Blanket goes well beyond a standard throw. It's designed to function as three things at once — a cozy blanket, a decorative wall tapestry , and an outdoor picnic mat. On top of that, its yarn-dyed retro beach motifs and tasseled fringe give it a distinctly artistic, bohemian character that plain throws simply can't offer. It's as much a design statement as it is a comfort essential.

What are the exact dimensions of this throw blanket?

The Stranda measures 51 x 63 inches (approx. 130 x 160 cm) and weighs 2.2 lbs (approx. 1 kg) . This generous rectangular size makes it ideal for draping over a sofa, pinning as a tapestry on a medium-sized wall, or spreading out comfortably as a blanket for two on a picnic. It's a versatile, well-proportioned size for most home and outdoor uses.

Is the cotton used in this throw genuinely high quality?

Absolutely. The Stranda is made from 100% cotton that is both breathable and soft to the touch, with an anti-pilling construction that keeps it looking and feeling fresh after repeated washes. The yarn-dyed technique means the colors are woven into the fibers — not printed on top — so the retro beach pattern stays vibrant and crisp even after machine washing. This is a throw built to last, not to fade.

How can I style the Stranda throw in my home?

The Stranda is wonderfully adaptable. Drape it casually over a linen sofa or armchair for instant boho coastal warmth , hang it on a bare wall above a bed or reading nook as a retro tapestry , or fold it neatly at the foot of a bed as a decorative accent. Its soft pink and yellow pastel palette works beautifully with natural wood tones, rattan, and white or neutral interiors — a natural fit for Scandinavian, coastal, or eclectic styles.

How do I care for and wash my Stranda blanket?

The Stranda is designed for real, everyday life. It is fully machine washable — simply wash on a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water and tumble dry on low heat. The anti-pilling cotton holds its texture beautifully wash after wash. To preserve the tassel fringe border , we recommend placing the blanket in a mesh laundry bag or turning it inside out before washing. Store it folded to keep the tassels neat when not in use.

Absolutely . Every piece is packed with the same care we put into curating it. We use reinforced boxes and protective cushioning designed for fragile décor and lighting—because a cracked shade, scratched finish, or chipped piece isn't acceptable. In the rare event your order arrives damaged, our support team will sort it out immediately with a replacement or full refund . No runaround.

A Coastal Boho Throw That Does More

Most throws just sit on the couch. The Stranda earns its place across your whole home. Drape it as a decorative tapestry on a bare wall, spread it on grass for a retro beach picnic blanket moment, or curl under it on cool spring evenings. The tasseled fringe border adds that final touch of relaxed bohemian character that pulls any room together.

Crafted from 100% breathable cotton, it stays light enough for spring and autumn use without sacrificing the cozy weight you want from a true throw. Anti-pilling construction means it holds its texture and color wash after wash.

Retro Beach Style for Modern Interiors

The Stranda slots naturally into coastal, boho, eclectic, or Scandinavian-meets-surf interiors. Toss it over a linen armchair, fold it at the foot of a bed, or pin it above a reading nook. The pastel palette is quiet enough to layer, bold enough to anchor.
